The follow-up rating is a percentage of follow-up requests you responded to within the last 30 days. Your follow-up rating is a great way to identify potential holes in your follow-up process, and ensure you're getting the most from the leads in your Market Leader system.

Follow-up Requests

The system identifies follow-up requests as any of the following contact actions:

  • They became a new lead in your system (e.g. registered on your website or HouseValues.com)
  • They requested a home evaluation (CMA) (e.g. they completed the form on the Sell page of your website)
  • They requested to be contacted
  • They requested more info on a property

(info) When a contact requests a follow-up, a red bell will appear on your contact dashboard (), indicating action is needed for that contact.

Completing a Request

To clear the follow-up, and ultimately increase your follow-up rating, you can take any of the following actions:

  • Send a CMA to the contact
  • Send listings to the contact
  • Send an email to the contact (e.g. a marketing email or a one-off email)
  • Mark a phone call reminder as complete
  • Add a note to the contact's history
  • Delete the contact (caution: once a contact is deleted, it's gone forever!)

Remember, the follow-up rating is a percentage of follow-up requests you responded to within the last 30 days. So the more follow-up requests you complete, the higher your follow-up rating will be.
