SMS Setup for Individual Accounts

If you are using New Lead Nurture Campaigns and are eager to enhance them with text messages, the first step is to complete the SMS Setup process detailed below. If you are a team leader or team member on a Teams account, click here for setup.

You are only eligible for this feature if your subscription contains active lead products - Network Boost, Leads Direct, or HouseValues.

To start the setup process, go to Account and click My Account.

From there, click SMS Settings then SMS Setup. On that page, select Set Up SMS.

On the Set Up SMS Page, review all prepopulated information to ensure everything is displayed correctly, then input your mobile phone number.

After you submit this information, we will share it with carriers for approval of your SMS registration.
  1. First and Last Name: Verify if the prepopulated information reflects your legal name. If not, please adjust it accordingly. Be aware that changes here won't update your legal name across all pages of the CRM system; it will be used solely for the SMS registration process.
  2. Company Name and Address: Ensure that all the provided information is correct. If the address is missing or incomplete, please fill in the necessary details. It's crucial that the address does not contain any unusual special symbols or hashtags.
  3. Mobile Phone Number: Input the mobile phone number you wish to use for SMS Setup. It should be a valid, personal, or business mobile number that you use on a daily basis.
You must use a valid and working mobile phone number and not a texting app i.e. Google Voice or your information will not be verified.

Once you have completed those steps, click Save.

After submitting your information you will receive a text asking you to verify your phone number. Reply YES to this text in order to complete your registration.

Your part is done for now! Next, we'll register your SMS brand with carriers. This process may take up to 8-10 weeks to complete.

Verification Is Not Completed Within 24 Hours

If the verification text is not responded to within 24 hours, you will get a prompt the next time you log in.

Select Go to Page.

Once on the SMS Setup page, click Resend Verification SMS.

If you made a mistake or want to change the mobile number originally entered, you can update your information by clicking Change number and it will resubmit the information.

You will receive the verification text again, respond YES within 24 hours.

Once you have confirmed via text, your part is done for now! Next, we'll register your SMS brand with carriers. This process may take up to 8-10 weeks to complete.

Setup Complete

Once your SMS brand is registered and approved by carriers, you will be notified by an in-system popup. Your New Lead Nurture Campaigns will now include text messages!

Click View Details.

On the SMS Setup page you will now see your new 10-digit Market Leader texting number.

SMS services are only for texting through Nurture Campaign steps. SMS setup does not include full texting capability from the Market Leader system.
