Sending listings from your Market Leader system allows you to provide targeted, relevant content to your contacts. On this page, you'll learn:

How to Send Listings to a Specific Contact

As a best practice, we recommend sending listings to specific contacts, so that you are providing them with the most relevant properties. You can send listings from the contact summary page, or from the All Contacts section of your system. To send listings, expand the More Actions menu and select Send Listings.

Here, you'll be redirected to the Search MLS section, where you can select which listings to send. When sending listings from the contact record, the listings are automatically filtered based upon your contact’s original search criteria.

(info) To identify listings your contact has already seen, pay attention to the map. Viewed listings will have a grey map marker, whereas listings they have not seen will appear green on the map. This allows you to send the most relevant properties.

To narrow down the listing results to better fit the needs of your contact, click the Filters button to

Here you can adjust the price range, property type, beds/baths, schools, or key words. The keyword field will pull listings based off of exact matches in the Remarks field from your MLS. You could use this field for terms like 'Boat Launch', 'Workshop', or 'Studio'.and more. When done, click Search.

The map will refresh and only display MLS properties that match your search criteria.

You can click the View Details link to see additional info for each property. To send the listings to your contact, simply click the box in the corner of the property tile(s). Then click the Send Listings button.

You can edit, preview, or send the email with the listings. You'll notice the contact's email address is already entered in the TO line; to send the email, just click the Send button.

Save the Search as a Listing Alert

When sending listings from the contact record, the listings are automatically filtered based upon your contact’s original search criteria. Click the Filters button to narrow down the listing results to better fit the needs of your contact.

The map will refresh and only display properties from your MLS that currently match your search criteria. To save this search as an alert for your contact, click Save Search.

Next, select the Save for Contact option. Then add the contact, name the search, and choose the frequency for the listing alert emails. Then click Save.

If you want to save the search for a contact, but do not want to set up a listing alert for them, simply select Never as the frequency.

How to Send Listings to a Contact Using Search MLS

You can also search the MLS to send properties to a contact in your system. To do this, click on the Listings tab and click Search All Listings.

From here, all of the steps are the same as above.

Once you have your listings selected, click Send Listings. Since there is no contact associated with this search, you will have to enter a contact to receive these listings. Once you've added your contact, the Send button will become active.
