These are the email templates for our easy-to-follow 10-day seller follow-up, which not only allows you to have a plan for new leads, but also leverages your system tools to keep you on track. Customize these and make them your own, and remember to stop the plan if they respond during the initial 10 days, then respond based on their actions.

Day 1

  • Text or call if they have a phone number
  • Research your new seller lead
  • Change status to Retry
  • Send initial follow-up email
  • Create a reminder for 1 day out

Day 1 Email - New Seller Lead (Option 2)

Day 2

  • Send a CMA (email & direct mail) with email
  • Set your reminder for 2 days out
(info) Rather than sending this as a Quick Text, simply add this as the default text for your CMA. Simply go to my account > email settings > templates and update the CMA email content. For direct mail, include 2 business cards.

Day 4

  • Check to see if they've been on your website or opened any emails
  • Setup a listing alert for pending & under contract properties
  • Include email explaining why
  • Set your reminder for 2 days out

Day 6

  • Send a link to a custom page, OR add to Market Insider Newsletter
  • Send CMA follow-up email
  • Set your reminder for 2 days out

Day 6 Email - CMA Follow-up (Option 2)

Day 8

  • Check to see if they've been on your website or opened any emails
  • Send additional comps of homes they haven't seen, or homes outside their area
  • Include email explaining why
  • Set your reminder for 2 days out

Day 8 Email - Additional Comps (Option 2) [comps are out of area, or different type/size/price] 

Day 10

  • Add to drip campaign (Long Term Sellers, Monthly Newsletter, or any campaign for sellers)
  • Add to group for direct mail or property marketing
  • Set your reminder for 30 days out
  • If they unsubscribe during the initial 10 days, send email asking why

Opt-In Email (with instructions for them to re-subscribe)

(info) This link will be your Market Leader website URL, with /mytools/#email-settings after the .com part. For example, if your website URL is www.MyWebsite.com, then you would make the link www.MyWebsite.com/mytools/#email-settings. If the consumer is not logged into your website, it will ask them for their login and password here, so you may want to let them know to look for that email - just in case.
