Don’t have any recent listings? No problem. We’ll feature content that’s attractive to buyers and sellers to generate leads. We update your ads automatically when you do get new listings and as a listing status changes – there’s no maintenance required by you.

How to turn on Facebook Leads


  1. Click the Help Tab and select Leads.
  2. In the Facebook Leads card, click Get Leads.
  3. Next, Choose your target cities.  You can select up to 5.
  4. Choose your monthly budget. You can choose one of the pre-defined options or choose a custom amount from $200 - $1000.
  5. Complete the payment authorization page.

You will receive an email notification once your Facebook Ad is live.

Leads generated from Facebook will be added automatically into your Market Leader system.

Modify/Disable Facebook Leads


  1. Click the Help Tab and select Leads.
  2. In the Facebook Leads card, click Get Leads.
  3. Click the Modify button in the Ad Details section.

Budget Increases will go into effect immediately.  You will see a pro-rated amount for the current month and your new monthly amount. Budget decreases will take affect on the first of the next month.  Note, if you decrease or disable ads after 7pm PST on the last day of the month, your changes won’t go into effect until the next month. (Example: Ads disabled on 1/31 won’t be disabled until 3/1)

Note: If you have a pending quote due to changes in Leads Direct or Facebook Leads, you will not be able to make another change in the system.  Please contact Support to continue modification.

What Happens Now

Once you signed up for Facebook Leads, your ad will show up on Facebook and Facebook-owned applications within 15 minutes. You will receive a notification once your Facebook ads go live. You will also receive notification each time you receive a new lead. We recommend making sure you have the Market Leader CRM app downloaded on your phone and enabling mobile notifications in the account area of the system. What to know about the leads generated by Facebook Leads

When a lead clicks on your ad, they will fill out a form that collects their name, email address, and phone number. Note that we do not validate the information is accurate prior to the lead entering your system.

When new Facebook leads come into your system, their source will identify them as Facebook leads. Additionally, leads generated from Facebook ads will generally be in the early part of their homebuying or selling journey and may not be as engaged as someone who is ready to buy or sell in the next 30 days. As such, leads generated from Facebook ads will need some nurturing to determine the best way you can serve them.

The goal is to make contact and build a relationship. We recommend creating a group for Facebook leads and assign that group to a campaign to immediately begin nurturing them and identifying where they are in their home buying/selling process. Click here to learn more about creating campaigns.

Viewing performance of your Facebook ads

Once your ads are live, you can check the performance of your Facebook ad by:

  1. Click the Help Tab and select Leads.
  2. In the Facebook Leads card, click Get Leads.

The All-Time Ad Performance will display the total number of impressions (number of times your ad was displayed) for your ads and the total number of leads generated.
