What is Email Quick Text?

Email Quick Text are pre-built message templates that you can create in advance, so you’ll be able to respond to your contacts more quickly and efficiently.  If you find that you are writing the same thing to your clients over and over, instead of rewriting an email, or copying and pasting from one email to another, you can save that information as a quick text to insert it directly into your email compose form.  Once you have a block of text saved, you’ll navigate to the Compose Email section of your account, where you can mix-and-match which saved quick text you’d like to use to quickly build emails to send to your contacts.     

To access the Email Quick Text:

  1. Hover over the Admin tab.
  2. Select Email from the drop down list.
  3. Click on Email Quick Text from the list on the left.
  4. You’ll now be on the Email Quick Texthome page. Here you’ll be able to:
    1. Create a new Email Quick Text
    2. Edit saved Email Quick Text’s

Creating a New Email Quick Text

From the Email Quick Text home page:

  1. Click the Create New button.

  2. Give your template a title. This title will not appear in the message.

  3. Enter and edit your text using the formatting toolbar to make sure it looks the way you want it to.
  4. When you click Save you'll be returned to the Email Quick Text home page.
  5. Click on the drop down menu to find your saved template.

Edit Saved Email Quick Text

In addition to the Email Quick Text templates you create, there are some pre-saved templates to get you started. These templates are:

  • Address of Homes for Sale
  • Contact Already Has an Agent
  • Home Information You Requested
  • Why Get Pre-Approved
  • Why Listing Alerts are So Important

To view, edit, or remove a saved template:

  1. Select an Email Quick Text from the drop down menu.

  2. You will be able to edit and format the existing text.
    1. You have the option to delete the template here as well, just click the Delete button.
  3. Once you have made your changes, click Save.

How to use an Email Quick Text

To use a saved Email Quick Text:

  1. Hover over the Email & Reminders tab and select Compose Email from the drop down menu.

  2. In the formatting bar click the drop down for Email Quick Text and you'll see a list of all available saved templates.

  3. Click on the name of the template you would like to use.
  4. The text will be inserted into the compose window.

  5. Continue typing, or adding more quick text templates to build an email until your message is complete.
  6. Add your contacts and a subject, and then click the Send Now button.

Additional Helpful Tips

  • There is a 2,000 character limit per Email Quick Text.
  • There is a 20,000 character limit per email
