Sending listings from your Market Leader system allows you to provide targeted, relevant content to your contacts. There are two ways to send listings to your contacts:

  • From a specific contact record
  • From the Search MLS section of your system

Note:Your broker must have the MLS approved and setup in order to send listings from your system

How to Send Listings to a Specific Contact

As a best practice, we recommend sending listings to specific contacts, so that you are providing them with the most relevant properties.

From the contact’s detail page, click the Send Listings button.

You'll be redirected to the Search MLS section. When sending listings from the contact record, the listings are automatically filtered based upon your contact’s original search criteria.

Click the Filters button to narrow down the listing results to better fit the needs of your contact.

Here you can adjust the price range, property type, beds/baths, schools, or key words. The keyword field will pull listings based off of exact matches in the Remarks field from your MLS. You could use this field for terms like 'Boat Launch', 'Workshop', or 'Studio'.and more. When done, click Search.

The map will refresh and only display MLS properties that match your search criteria.

You can click the View Details link to see additional info for each property. To send the listings to your contact, simply click the box in the corner of the property tile(s). Then click the Send Listings button.

You can edit, preview, or send the email with the listings. You'll notice the contact's email address is already entered in the TO line; to send the email, just click the Send button.

Save the Search or Save as Listing Alert

You can choose to save the search criteria that you entered to use again, or you can save it as a listing alert for a contact by clicking Save Search.

To save the search criteria for future property searches, make sure the My Searches option is selected. Here, you can replace an existing saved search OR save it as a new search. To save as a new search, select the Create New option, and name your search. Then click Save.

If you save your search for a contact, the contact you save it for will begin receiving an email with listings that match the search criteria. Simply select the Save for Contact option, then add the contact, name the search, and choose the frequency for the listing alert emails (you can select as soon as available, daily, twice per week, weekly, twice a month, monthly, or never). Then click Save.

If you want to save the search for a contact, but do not want to set up a listing alert for them, simply select Never as the frequency.

How to Send Listings to a Contact Using Search MLS

You can also search the MLS to send properties to a contact in your system.

To do this, hover over the Listings tab and click Search All Listings.

From here, all of the steps are the same as above.

Once you have your listings selected, click Send Listings.

Since there is no contact associated with this search, you will have to enter a contact to receive these listings. Once you've added your contact, the Send button will become active.
